Meet the Real Obama

(UPDATED TO INCLUDE LINK TO FULL ARTICLE IN INSIGHT MAGAZINE.)

According to Insight Magazine, Hillary’s Hit-Team are already gunning for Barrack Obama:

Are the American people ready for an elected president who was educated in a Madrassa as a young boy and has not been forthcoming about his Muslim heritage? This is the question Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton’s camp is asking about Sen. Barack Obama.

According to the article, Obama was raised a Muslim (a vindication for Riley here, thank you – I’ll expect acknowledgements from Conaway and Aaron) and attended a Madrassa — Islamic religious schools known for radical political indoctrination of their students — while living in Jakarta, Indonesia. The courses of study at such schools typically include Arabic, Tafsir (Qur’anic interpretation), shari’ah (Islamic law), Hadith (recorded sayings and deeds of Muhammad), Mantiq (logic), and Muslim History.  These radical schools teach children as young as first grade that “all religions, other than Islam, are false, including that of the Jews [and] Christians.”

In addition to that, apparently Hillary’s Hit Team have uncovered that some of the individuals in Obama’s autobiography are “composite characters” of people and not real persons. Makes you wonder just how much of Obama himself is fictional, doesn’t it?  Could Barack Obama be the second person to have recently conned Oprah about their past?  We shall see.

And we’re still a year away from Iowa and New Hampshire.  Read the full article here.

UPDATE:  It now appears that CNN has debunked the madrassa part of this story, although not the other allegations that he was raised Muslim or that there are fictional people populating his autobiography.

  1. Oh..it has been a good week to be a Republican. The Republicans in the General Assembly cooperated and produced a workable transportation package and the “most divisive” Dem presidential candidate is taking down the “most likable.” Happy Days are here again. :)

I pray that Hilllary wins the nomination, so that we can usher in another Republican prez.

  2. Sources said the background check, conducted by researchers connected to Senator Clinton, disclosed details of Mr. Obama’s Muslim past. The sources said the Clinton camp concluded the Illinois Democrat concealed his prior Muslim faith and education.

Wow. “Sources.” That sounds really legit.

Sounds like a whole lot of propganda. You really sure you want to get to close to this story?

  3. Actually, Zen, when the term “sources” is used, it usually means a name that at least some in the general public who are politically aware would recognize. I’m thinking probably Sidney Blumenthal.

  4. This “leak” seems too slick, too orchestrated for me to buy at this point. One, it obviously taints Obama, but with a “fear tactic” that really targets those on the right. So it becomes an attempt to take out his credibility in circles larger than just the Dems.
Second, it also provides fodder for those that already dislike Clinton. It’s “proof” that she’ll slime anyone that threatens her goals.

It’s way too crafty to be legit in my opinion. Also, consider the source of it’s reporting (Fox and Insight) not friends of Clinton. What people would work for her and then feed this to her harshist critics?

Look at the impact the “report” is having. Righties love it because to them it’s perfect proof. Lefties deny it saying it’s a plot. So who’s the real benefactor of this whole scheme?

  5. Every once in a while a blind squirrel finds a nut. I guess it was finally time for CNN to stumble onto something.

  6. Well, I suppose when there are so many (wing)nuts, it makes it easy.
