Go Lucas!
I will interested in seeing whether Julie Lucas will pointedly disassociate herself from the accusations that have been made against her opponent by certain blogs. I expect she will. If she does, then she will find it easier to unify the party behind her should she win.
It would be nice to have Lucas and Gill have a ladylike and gentlemanly discussion of actual issues instead the stuff we have seen so far.
[...] Riley reports that Julie has indeed filed for the 51st [...]
Citizen Tom – guess you are a Gill supporter if you are afraid she MAY use the facts. I, personally, believe she should – if she doesn’t, the Dems CERTAINLY will!!! All one has to do is to “Google” Faisal Gill.
What Julie will be able to run on is her experience, professionalism, and ability to work both sides of the aisle and get things done. Her record is stellar, which is why she has been recognized outside of the community for her work done thus far. She ALWAYS puts others before self.
Ms. Lucas is nothing but a lady – heck, that was witnessed on the 30th when she worked the polls. It was NOT about her, it was about Mike May. If only her “Republian” opponent could have used the same tact.
