The festering bad blood between movie-star exes Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger erupted Thursday when an angry phone message from Baldwin to his daughter was made public. On the recording, Baldwin can be heard berating his 11-year-old, Ireland, “You are a rude, thoughtless little pig.”
“You don’t have the brains or the decency as a human being,” he says, apparently upset that she did not answer her phone for a planned call.
“I don’t give a damn that you’re 12 years old, or 11 years old, or that you’re a child, or that your mother is a thoughtless pain in the ass who doesn’t care about what you do as far as I’m concerned. You have humiliated me for the last time with this phone.”
He goes on to say that he plans to fly from New York to Los Angeles “for the day just to straighten you out on this issue.”

For Alec Baldwin to be a jerk to Sean Hannity and insult construction workers is one thing. To say the same sorts of things to his own daughter is inexcusable.

Alec, you foolish, pompous, untalented slob. You were talking to a child….your child. I believe you should be arrested for sending threats to a minor. No wonder Kim hates you. You are not worthy of being a father.
Mr. Baldwin has finally shown his true colors. He is acutally an excellent actor because for many years he has been acting like a
real human rather than the thoughless animal he has now revealed himself to be. I hope this behavior will open up the eyes of anyone considering him for a job or for the three people that were his fans.
Alex Baldwin should have kept his promise to move to China if

other people in this country would have GLADLY taken him to the
airport any day, any time! Another plus would have been if he
could have taken Barbara Striesdan WITH HIM! He is PATHETIC!

No wonder his daughter avoided calling him! All the signs of a verbal and emotional abuser. Always done behind closed doors. Of course, no abuser comes right out and admits he abuses his children or wife…. been there…. He’s been caught and should only have supervised visits with his daughter in the future, and very short ones.

A perfect example of a celebrity who feels someone has humliated HIM because HIS call went unanswered! Talk about being self-centered!
I cannot believe the hype over this! Obviously Alec Baldwin had a reason to be very mad and although his words were harsh, the public does not know the whole story. I do know that when you have a custody aggreement and scheduled telephone calls are part of that agreement it should be honored on both ends. I would bet that if Alec Baldwin missed making a scheduled call that he would be dragged back into court for violating the custody agreement. By making this call public is obviously someone’s vindictive behavior in an already bad situation. Bottom line is, this family has troubles and plastering a private telephone message all over the news will not help them it will only hurt them more. Our country is at war everyone, I understand the need for entertainment news, I need it sometimes to, but is the Baldwins private life really this newsworthy?
Take 1 vat of beef lard and 2 oz. of bacon grease and douse it with some cheap liquor. Add a tuff of dyed hair, a big rubber livery lip. Heat to boiling point. And you get Mr. Baldwin………..
Come up with any excuse you like Christine, but NO parent should EVER speak to a child that way. It is abuse, plain and simple. And I’ll guarantee you it isn’t the first time either.
Co-parenting in times of a high-conflict divorce, like Baldwin’s and Bassinger’s, is very difficult. But no matter what–and this is wort repeating–no matter what, you must never take it out on your child. How ironic that the very person Mr. Baldwin claims to love and is fighting for, he has hurt the most. He needs counseling and therapy. I only hope that he gets well so that his relationship with his daughter is not strained forever.
Baldwin’s desperate plea that the reason for his vulgar attack against his daughter, is that he is the victim if years of parental alienation syndrome is ridiculous. I was and still am a victim of that and let me tell ya!, the last thing it drives you to do is mistreat your child. He suffers from intense self-indulgence and selfishness. He needs immediate psychiatric treatment and should only have supervised visitation until he is evaluated.
Christine, please don’t tell me your serious. Alec Baldwin has spent his entire life trying to live in the public eye. Don’t make excuses for him. There is NOTHING ON THE FACE OF THIS EARTH that justifies calling your daughter a “pig.”
Baldwin has once again shown his true colors. But this time, since he was talking to a child and not calling for the assasination of a high ranking REPUBLICAN Congressman, he gets some attention.
Sounds like Christine has a thing for Alec, political or otherwise.
