Chaz for Rockingham County Clerk of the Court

While Rockingham County is somewhat west of the Greater Richmond-Washington Metro Area I-95 corridor that we usually cover here at Virtucon, some blog friends from that area have brought a great candidate to our attention — Chaz Evans-Heywood who is running for Rockingham County Clerk of the Court.  Chaz worked in the district offices of both Sen. George Allen and Rep. Bob Goodlatte and is a decorated veteran of the Virginia Army National Guard who was awarded the United States Army Achievement Medal for meritorious service.

Chaz is an up and coming political star who has solid plans to modernize and streamline the clerk’s office operation to make it more efficient.  He is definitely someone to keep your eye on for the future.  So, in an effort to help Chaz launch what promises to be a long and bright future in Virginia politics, Virginia Virtucon is proud to endorse Chaz in this race and add him to our Red Storm Virginia project.  You can visit his campaign web site here and donate to him here.  Please be sure to be as generous as possible with your contributions.

Go get ‘em, Chaz!!!

  3. And you base your opinion of Chaz on what? What measurement are you using to compare Chaz to the other candidates? I see nothing here but Republican Kool Aid drinking.

  4. The lack of a reply to question 3 is deafening, yet speaks volumes.

  5. It’s called the weekend. I’ll answer you when I have time. In the meantime, get a life.

  6. Okay, now that I have had a chance to spend some time with my family, attend to other matters, play some golf and address more pressing topics here on Virtucon, I’d be glad to answer your question. My opinion of Chaz is based upon his distinguished reputation that he built up working for both Sen. Allen and Rep. Goodlatte, the high regard that the people who know him best hold him in, his impressive biography and the solid plans that he has outlined in his campaign for modernizing the Clerk’s office. As far as measuring him against other candidates — and there are quite a few of them, I employed articles from The Daily News Record and hburgnews. Hardly Kool Aid drinking.

  7. In other words, you don’t know squat about either Chaz or any of the other candidates. Chaz is a great guy, but he’s never had a job that hasn’t sucked off of the teat of the government.

That doesn’t mean he’s qualified to be Clerk of the Circuit Court.

Keep focused on northern Virginia and stay out of Valley Politics…that’s all we need: the views of another lawyer…I say: hang ALL of them.

  8. Okay, there is no convincing you short of providing a bibliography and given that we’re heading into another weekend, I don’t have time for that. So, who are YOU supporting?
