WashPo embarasses itself with Tribbett article

The WashPo has finally hit rock bottom with today’s article, “Blogger Says He Was Told of Indictments” by Sandhya Somashekhar.  The entire article is about a claim made by Ben Tribbett on his blog, the late Not Larry Sabato.  Why does The WashPo give any credence to someone whose “#1 source of … income since 2005 is poker in Atlantic City or Las Vegas“?

The WashPo may as well start running articles based upon gossip at the local barber shop and beauty parlor if this is the type of standard they are setting for themselves.

    People are getting all worked up for nothing here. Vogel has got this in the bag. She has been winning all along even before the indicments were handed dowm. NLS has a good blog but he has not seen the polls, it is over.

    And if you look at campaign finance records his past donations list the same address as other Tribbetts. Has he moved? Or was he answering your questions cleverly. Maybe he doesn’t live in the basement, he lives over his parents’ garage?
