Former U.S. Sen. Al D’Amato (R-NY) has endorsed Fred Thompson over hometown boy Rudy Giuliani and word is that former Gov. George Pataki (R-NY) might be following suit. Looks like Giuliani’s 1994 endorsement of Mario Cuomo’s failed reelection bid is coming back to bite him.
