It is a nonsens idea when someone claims that illegal
immigrants will reduce jobs. The Goverrment has this chance to have many people in this Country. The task now is to study with each Community how to make these people work for their City. If someone don't want to work, his place is not in United States because we want change. When you don't make people work, the change is not yet. People who don't want to go to school to develope their knowledge have not their place here. You are illegal her, proove you have the strenght to helpe for the avancement of the Country who give you hospitality. That what the Government has to aks.

Now for the secdurity of the Country give to every illegal the chance to have an state ID. Give a deadeline for that. After the deadline any people without This State ID will have problem. Because we have to controle the flow of illegals who come through the boarder. I don't forget the problem that America give to Haitian boat people. Why we can't controle the problem of Mexico?
Make a immigration law more affordable when people won't have to risk their life for a visit. Make the
travel agencies more effective with many travels every year. I don't forget in the years 70, 80 haitian have big interest to travel and return to their Coutry because they had joice of life. You paid one haitian dollar for one US dollar and you didn't have insecurity. Mke every Country economiquely good by working with their Government. Why people have to leave their Country for UNITED STATES, only for a beter life.

Claire, given that the bill was still being written yesterday as senators were voting on it (that is why they had to stop senate proceedings for a while yesterday), no one can be certain that these things AREN'T contained in the bill.

It is interesting to note, however, that the Virginians for CIR (Comprehensive Immigration Reform) group that you represent is actually run by CG2 Consulting which counts among its clients according to its website:

Governor Mark Warner

Lt. Governor Timothy Kaine

Virginia Delegate Viola O. Baskerville

Richmond City Council member, Jackie M. Jackson

Henrico Board of Supervisors candidate, Angela Rowe

Former Virginia Speaker of the House Thomas W. Moss

Former Virginia House Majority Leader C. Richard Cranwell

Virginia House Democratic Caucus

Viriginia Joint Democratic Caucus

Oklahoma House Democratic Caucus

Virginia Legislative Black Caucus

The Commonwealth Coalition

FYI, you might want to update some of those titles there.
