Can you imagine the revenue we could generate here if this thing were applied universally? As a former NY’er, home of the most aware and considerate drivers in the country, I can point my finger at these discourteous louts with impunity!

  2. No wonder why Kaine doesn’t want to call a special session to fix this. See: http://washingtontimes.com/article/20070714/METRO/107140038/1004

  3. Interestingly enough, Sen. Roscoe Reynolds (D-20) introduced a bill to make the abuser fees apply to any and all violators. Unfortunately, it was killed in committee.

  4. [...] Virginia Politics, Transportation. trackback First, we had the news that Gov. Timmy! was responsible for striking the out-of-state driver provision from the abusive driving fees legislation.  Now we learn that 36 Democrats (and Russ Potts) voted [...]

  5. [...] are two problems with this argument. First of all, it’s been fairly well established that it was Governor Tim Kaine who insisted on changing the abusive driver fees statute to apply only to … Second, whether you like the abusive driver fees or not, the Democrats are completely wrong when [...]
