(H/T Below The Beltway)
It seems that both Loudoun and Culpeper soon may be following Prince William County’s lead on addressing the problem of illegal aliens. Not only is this good policy, but one that is now necessitated in light of the PWC resolution.
Since Prince William County passed some of the toughest rules in the nation, people in Culpeper said they are worried they will be hit with an influx of [illegal] immigrants.
I think that we will rapidly see two schools of thought emerge in the D.C. region. One will be counties that take the course that PWC charted. The other will follow Montgomery County, Maryland and become sanctuaries for illegal aliens.
Don’t be surprised to see this type of sign going up soon.

I can practically guarantee that Arlington will opt for the sanctuary route. Most likely Alexandria as well. I think the real battle will be for Fairfax. If Gary Baise can make this an issue in his race for Chairman against Gerry Connolly, a huge upset could be in the making.
UPDATE: Loudoun County has passed their anti-illegal alien resolution unanimously. It sounds as if they are going to extend their ban to public education and challenge Plyler v. Doe. (H/T BVBL.)
