Attention Young Republicans in PWC

From today’s Potomac News

Hardy looking for Prince William Young Republicans

Woodbridge resident Michael Hardy is looking for Young Republican recruits as the fall elections near.

Calling Prince William County the last frontier of Republican dominance in Northern Virginia, Hardy said he’s looking for Young Republicans to keep it going.

On Aug. 13 Hardy is holding a meeting where young Republicans can meet for the first time in a few years and elect officers to the Greater Prince William County Young Republicans committee.

The meeting begins at 7 p.m., will last at most an hour and a half and will be held at the Prince William County Republican Headquarters, 4431 Prince William Parkway.

Anyone between the ages of 18 and 41 who is qualified to vote in Virginia and is not actively associated with the College Republicans can join if they live or work in Prince William, Manassas or Manassas Park.

Confirm your attendance for this meeting and invite any friends that you think would be interested in joining the group.

Send questions to gopman043@yahoo.com.

Hardy is an assistant to Del. Jeffrey M. Frederick, R-Woodbridge.

I’m glad to see someone step forward to revive the once great PWC YR group!

  1. Just confirmed that the newly elected RPV Chairman, John Hager will be the guest speaker.

  2. Excellent! I’ve also heard that Virginia Virtucon’s very own ConservativeFembot is planning on putting in an appearance.

  3. Good luck…Prince William Young Republicans !!! :-)

  4. Mike:

Re-energizing a YR chapter can be very challenging and you’ll learn many helpful political lessons. All of us here on Virtucon have been somewhat involved ;-) with the YRs over the years and we wish you every success!

  5. Yeah, Virtucon is basically where Young Republicans go either when they’ve aged out or have gone as far as they’re going to go in YRs. In fact, Hirons here used to head up the PWC YRs a few years back when it was one of the most successful clubs in the Commonwealth.
