Mark Warner Stumbles Badly Out of the Gate
Word has reached us that when asked point blank by reporters today about breaking his campaign promise not to raise taxes, Mark Warner stumbled around the question badly before finally falling back into old habits and dismissing it as “negative Washington campaigning.” That is the same tactic he used back in 2001 when Republican candidate Mark Earley charged that Mark Warner would raise taxes if elected governor.
It seems that in Mark Warner’s sheltered world, talking about issues, his plans or his record is off-limits because that would be “negative campaigning.”
Welcome to the real world, Marky Mark. You have a record that you now have to defend. Your myth is about to be shattered.
