That is the only thing that we can assume from Neabsco Supervisor John Jenkins’ response to the detailed study put together by Trent Barton debunking the overly-inflated cost of implementing the anti-illegal alien resolution in PWC being cited by some as a reason to oppose it:

Subject: RE: Not read: Illegal Immigration Vote– Cost of the ResolutionIt is unfortunate that you decided to delete my email without reading it. It shows you are not interested in hearing from a county resident about this very important issue. I guess you don’t want to see where the data you have been putting out is flawed.

So, will John Jenkins vote against funding the anti-illegal alien resolution tomorrow claiming that he is only doing so because we “can’t afford it”? If he does, he will do so at his own peril and we’ll be watching.

Dear Sir or Madam,
I vote every election and I support the immigrant policy adopted by Prince William County. I’ve been a resident of PWC for 10 years. In my opinion, law abiding citizens should not be asked to subsidize illegal immigrants for any reason. I also support the policy of asking for proof of citizenship by our law enforcement personnel. I believe “Good hearted” people would want to become a legal immigrant and follow the current process to do so instead of crying foul after being singled out as a law breaker.

You know, a lot of times with the preview pane in Outlook, people actually do read the email even if it says it was deleted without being read.
Somehow, I don’t think that Jenkins is that sophisticated.
