This is an incredibly moving story about retired Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Peter Pace (USMC). It seems that the day he retired, he visited the Vietnam War Memorial and left his four-star general’s rank there near the names of those from his platoon who fell in Vietnam.
