Well, the gang over at Ranting Kids are reporting that State Sen. Edd Houck (no, that is not a typo, he really spells his name with two “d”s) is a possible Dem candidate for Congress for the seat left vacant by the death of U.S. Rep. JoAnn Davis. That would be the same Edd Houck that is asking the people of Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania to reelect him in a week and a half. In fact, the crew over at Ranting Kids are just ecstatic over the possibility of a Houck candidacy.
So, since Edd Houck has already abandoned the people of Spotsy and F’burg on the issues, it really wouldn’t be that much of a stretch to abandon them this way, either.
The voters should send a message to Edd on Election Day — “It’s not me, it’s you. We’re over.” Chris Yakabouski is much more in line with the voters of this district on issues ranging from taxes to illegal immigration. Perhaps Edd will have some free time following Election Day after all, although losing a campaign isn’t exactly a key quality one usually looks for when selecting a candidate for Congress.
