Friday Night Video Fights – Week 28

Week 28 of Virginia Virtucon’s Friday Night Video Fights is here! Last week Phil Collins’ “Don’t Lose My Number” knocked off his band Genesis who had occupied the top spot with “Land of Confusion.” Will Phil stay on top or is revenge a dish best served cold? You’ll decide!!!

Let’s get ready to rumble…..

In this corner, the champion. Stepping into the ring, where there is definitely “No Jacket Required,” here is Phil Collins and “Don’t Lose My Number”…

And in the other corner, the challengers. Led by that tall guy with the beard who plays bass guitar for Genesis (someone once said his name is Mike Rutherford), here are Mike + The Mechanics with their debut hit “Silent Running”…

(For the record, the lead singer of Mike + The Mechanics is NOT Phil Collins, it is Paul Carrack — who sang “Tempted” with Squeeze and “How Long” with Ace — even though he sounds and even looks a lot like Collins.)
