Latest Virginia Presidential Primary Polls

Survey USA has just come out with the latest polls for tomorrow’s Virginia presidential primaries.

On the GOP side:

  • McCain – 48
  • Dukakabee – 37
  • Paul – 7
  • Other – 6
  • Undecided – 2

And the Dems:

  • Obama – 60
  • Clinton – 38
  • Other – 2
  • Undecided – 1

I just don’t get The Politico putting out an article that Sen. Clinton “badly” needs a victory in Virginia.  It just isn’t going to happen and probably never was in the cards.  All the notable Dems in Virginia have backed Obama, some for quite some time (at least since Marky Mark mysteriously and suddenly dropped out of the presidential race himself.)  Only Sen. Thinskin Gump (D-WashPo) has not endorsed Obama and instead chosen to remain neutral in the race.  Clinton has a much better chance in Maryland (although the polls don’t currently indicate that now) where the Governor and several other prominent Democrat elected officials have endorsed her and lent her their political machines.

  2. If you guys really want to help McCain vote for Hillary Clinton. She’s the easiest of the two for him to beat. She has allot of baggage. If she wins McCain would do allot better in November.

  3. A recent ARG poll (older than the current) SurveyUSA poll referenced above has McCain up 54-32.

  4. [...] polls suggest that McCain will defeat Hucakbee in Virginia today by 48% to 37%. I for one am hoping for a [...]
