LG Bill Bolling is set to make a major announcement at 1:30 p.m. today at the State Capitol regarding the 2009 elections. Details to follow.
UPDATE: We hope to have an official statement that we can post here from the Bolling camp by around 2:30 p.m. this afternoon. If we hear anything sooner, we’ll be sure to post an update, but for now they’re being tight lipped in the LG’s office. I think most people can guess what this will be, but there are always surprises in politics.
UPDATE 2: WRVA is reporting that “sources say” Bolling will run for re-election.

Well, well, well… Speculation running rampant
With about an hour to go before Lt. Gov. Bolling is scheduled to make a “major announcement” (planned for 1:30pm today), WRVA is reporting that it probably won’t be that he’s running for Governor in 2009… Now that’s very interesting… The times…
What’s Corey Stewart thinking? After all the hard work and patrionage he showed to Bill back in 2005- and now this?
I hope Corey continues his run for the nomination.
