The latest Rasmussen Reports survey on Virginia is out and it shows that John McCain holds an 11-point lead over Barack Obama (52-41) and a 22-point lead over Hillary Clinton (58-36).
If McCain is able to win Virginia with at least 55 percent of the vote in Nov. AND if he campaigns closely with the GOP nominee for U.S. Senate, Marky Mark could be facing some strong headwinds in what he thinks will be a walk to Capitol Hill. And once issues start being discussed in that race, there is no place for Marky Mark to go but down. He can’t run an issueless campaign forever.
