Seems that Barry Obama’s derogatory comments about mainstream, middle-class and blue collar Americans that he made in the liberal haven of San Francisco this week is building into “macaca” proportions. Heck, this may even be of proportions of Mike Dukakis’ lame debate answer to the question posed to him by CNN’s Bernie Shaw on the death penalty involving a hypothetical where his wife had been raped and murdered. I still remember watching that 20 years ago with some classmates and one of our professors (a Jesuit priest.) The priest said right after Dukakis’ response, “He just lost the election right there.”
It has been a rough couple of weeks for Barry. His “typical white person” comment about his grandma. His “punished with a baby” comment. His unapologetic associations with Rev. Jeremiah Wright and Bill Ayers. Now we have this gaping, self-inflicted wound. For someone so good at oratory, he can sure say a lot of dumb things very well.
Here’s a quick round-up of who in VA is blogging this already:
And Greg L. at BVBL offers a list of people that Barry Obama offended during his SF speech:
People of faith: check. Hunters, sportsmen, and self-defense advocates and others who cherish our constitutional rights: check. People fed up with the massive influx of illegal aliens: check. People sick of wrongly being branded as racists: check. How much of the American electorate hasn’t Obama managed to insult here?
Barry Obama is the gift that just keeps on giving.

I have a question.
Where does the “Barry Obama” nickname come from? I haven’t heard that before.
I noted how Ben Tribbett (Mr. Macacca himself) didn’t bother to mention this even though he supports Hilary.
Do you think the Wa-Po will now try to dig up strangers from thirty years ago to see if they have further insults of Obama’s toward the middle class? Perhaps he was quoted once as saying “Religion is the opiate of the masses”. I think they probably won’t.
serentripity.
Barry was his preferred name when he was growing up. I would suppose when he decided to be President he thought Barrack somehow sounded more sophisticated then Barry.
