I really don’t understand why Rep. Davis is burning bridges. He had $2 million and could have put up a good fight at the convention. Instead, he blinked. Now he just looks bitter.

Sen. John Warner will not be attending the convention either. It’s a shame that neither of these Virginia statesmen will be there to receive recognition for their Congressional service.

Davis is on that same committee this year. He’s not showing up, and is sending a proxy this year.

Four years ago, Davis was on the committee at the state convention that interviewed me to be a delegate to the national convo.

Now I understand why Tom Davis ran for Delegate to the National Convention at the 11th District Convention. Normally Congressmen are elected as Delegates to the National Convention at the State Convention without any effort. I wondered why Tom went to all the trouble of running at the congressional district level.

This year, Tom will not even be at the state convention, and he let this bomb drop right before the state convention.
