Mark Warner — Two Lies in 16 Seconds

Marky Mark from his 2001 gubernatorial debate with Mark Earley:

First lie, “I will finish the repeal of the car tax.”

Second lie, “I will not raise taxes.”

Will he be able to beat this record in Saturday’s debate with Jim Gilmore? I wouldn’t bet against it!
