Del. Bob Marshall Registers Statewide PAC.

Opposed to a Federal PAC.

Could this mean he’s considering a run for the GOP gubernatorial nomination, or some other statewide office in 2009?

Every statewide candidates plans are in flux due to speculation over Kaine’s potential nod as VP.

It looks like the Life, Liberty, Property PAC was just registered sometime in the past couple weeks. (VA-08-036, is the PAC’s registration number , which is one of the newest reg #’s on the SBE site.)

I couldn’t cut and paste the exact link to the PAC.

However, here is the link to the SBE website. On the right-hand column you’ll find a list of State PAC’s. Simply scroll down to Life Liberty Property PAC, registered to an address in Manassas.

  1. Delegate Marshall has built an impressive statewide organization. He has re-energized the conservative movement in Virginia. I will walk thru fire for Bob Marshall. I look forward to supporting him for any office for in the future.

  2. Whether it’s true or not I don’t know but what I do know is Bob Marshall could easily cause Bob McDonnell some trouble, especially on the life and 2nd Amendment issues. I forgot to mention HB3202 which was McDonnell’s creation that Marshall had striken down by the courts.

He, Marshall, easily had more people at the convention in May from what I hear so McDonnell might find himself on the outside looking in while Marshall would make it tough for the dems to keep the Mansion in Richmond. Marshall would make one heck of a Governor, can you imagine him at the helm! That would be unbelievable!!!!

  3. IS Bob McDonnell Pro-Life?
I can not recall a Pro-Life Issue he has pushed as AG.

  4. Dont loose your heads folks. McDonnell aint no Gilmore. Unlike Gilmore, People actually LIKE McDonnell and his conservative positions. A potential Marshall v. McDonnell matchup would be an ass whipping–delivered by McD. Bank.

Marshall’s best bet would be to look for another federal race, if that is what he truly wants. If not, he can bring his shit on.

  5. Perhaps Marshall is looking at LG in case of Timmy! moving on. Or he’s looking to help likeminded members of the GA.

  6. Not Bob, this is ridiculous!

AG McDonnell is a conservative WHO CAN WIN.

He has already raised over $1 million, he has broad support in Northern Virginia, Hampton Roads, Richmond, and Southwestern Virginia. McDonnell is loved in the “pro-life” community.

You can’t recall what Pro-Life issue he has pushed? Among other things…. How about this – http://nrlc.org/news/2008/NRL06/Virginia.html. He just got the full 4th Circuit to review the partial birth abortion decision!!!!

    What are you about!!!??

We are going to WIN in 2009 because the GOP is unified in its support of a McDonnell/Bowling ticket. McDonnell & Bowling are conservative, have a great record, and – importantly – they are electable!

itsyourbirthday is right – “Don’t lose your head folks.” We can and will win in 2009, but we do it by being unified behind a true conservative ticket (McDonnell/Bowling). A challenge by Marshall would be a disaster for the GOP and it would mean another 4 years of a Dem in the Governor’s mansion.

  7. Seems Not Bob McDonnell and Marshall Fan are one and the same. At least they are both posting from the same computer.

I welcome your comments, but simply ask; if you are going to comment twice on a single story, please use the same username both times.

    Thanks.

  8. Bob McDonnell is Pro-Life and for the record so is Senator John McCain for anyone with doubts on that issue. Bob McDonnell will make a great governor and a challenge at this point would only hurt the Virginia GOP. Focus should be on 2008 first and supporting Sen. McCain, Reps. Drake, Wolf and 11th District Candidate Fimian and the rest of our Virginia GOP Congressional delegation.
