This morning, Gov. Timmy! jumped on John McCain for being unable to state exactly how many homes he and his wife own, mocking McCain and saying he couldn’t count high enough. This lead Barry Obama’s campaign to do a quick ad on this.
By all means, let’s talk about candidates’ houses. From National Review Online’s The Campaign Spot:
it was the Obama campaign who was the first to raise the issue of candidate house purchases. Indeed, none of McCain’s houses have been purchased with a longtime political associate convicted of six counts of wire fraud, six counts of mail fraud, two counts of corrupt solicitation, and two counts of money laundering.
Barry can’t say the same thing.
As far as Timmy!’s comment on ability to count — his buddy Barry is the one who claimed there are 57 states. And Timmy! obviously couldn’t count low enough to figure out how many votes his transportation plan would receive in the recent special session of the General Assembly — exactly zero.
