Some libs like Alan Colmes are trying to claim that Gov. Sarah Palin did not provide adequate prenatal care for her youngest son while others have completely gone around the bend and are claiming that Palin isn’t actually the mother, but the grandmother — obviously confusing reality with a storyline from the 2007-2008 season of ”Desperate Housewives.”
Well, unfortunately for the reality impaired, there are photos and press accounts of Palin during her pregnancy where she appears and is described as being pregnant. There are just some places that you can’t fake gaining weight or retaining fluid, like in the face and hands.
UPDATE: The photo of Sarah Palin’s daughter Bristol where the DailyKos blogger claimed she had a “baby bump” — was taken and published in 2006. Oops!
UPDATE 2: It has been announced that Bristol is in fact pregnant NOW, is five months along (putting the conception date back around the time her little brother was born, thus disproving that ridiculous theory) and will be marrying the father.
Let’s see how accepting the nutroots will be of this. Somehow, I don’t think that they’ll be too kind to this 17 year old. The nutroots Dems would be much more accepting if Bristol declared herself a Democrat, renounced her mother and killed her baby. Just shows you how sick, warped and twisted such people are.

Who are you talking about? You don’t have an inkling about how the “Dems” would feel is Bristol renounced her mother and killed her baby (I assume you’re talking abortion). Maybe if Bristol’s parents had talked to her about birth control, she wouldn’t find herself in this situation, but NO, abstinance is the only way. Didn’t quite work this time.
The liberal bloggers are sexist. Would we even be having this conversation if McCain had selected Palin’s husband???? Get over it, the fact that her daughter is pregnant has nothing to do with this race, or how good of a vice president she will be.

It probably wouldn’t be talked about had Mr Palin been VP candidate, and this would not have been brought up, had some idiots not started the insinuations about the Palins’ 4 month old baby.

You do not know the palin girl. Unless you were there when the child was conceived, you have no idea if the condom broke or the pill did not work. Sometimes Teens often operate on their own, or not. You have no bases for anything you might say about this. You were not present when the birds and bees were discussed in the home or school. But the absolute bottom line, Mosippan, she is a 17 year old. She is out of bounds in this or any election cycle. She is the CHILD of the candidate…NOT the candidate. Grow up. Come up from the gutter. I am disgusted that she is even mentioned. This matter is a family matter. If you do not believe me, then check out the great Obama…..he agrees with me. Enough!!
Yes, it OUGHT to be a family matter, but when you agree to go on the world stage, family matters have a way of becoming more than a family matter.
The parents of Bristol have brought this incredible spot light on their teenage daughter AND her boyfriend whose family has also landed on the world scene.
Certainly the Palins must have known that something like this would happen. Did they not give thought to what would happen to their daughter? How do you suppose she feels? How would YOU feel if you were in her place?
Anyone who politicizes this serious family matter is just sick. This concentrated effort of the MSM and some bloggers to discredit Sarah Palin because her daughter is pregnant is beyond the pale. That’s all.
There was plenty of sympathy from the MSM when Al Gore III was arrested (I believe the charge was reckless driving) just prior to the 2000 Dem convo.
