Remember good ol’ Barry Obama’s speech to the San Francisco elite about small town people being bitter and clinging to their guns and religion? Well, this will really throw them into a full tizzy.
Latest U.S. Census data lists the wealthiest places in the U.S. based upon median income.
Among cities, coming in fourth is San Francisco [...]

While gone from Newsweak’s website, the internet NEVER FORGETS… Just last year this magazine was praising AK Gov. Sarah Palin.
Now This Is Woman’s Work

From Peggy Noonan’s latest column in the WSJ, “A Clear and Present Danger To the American Left,” she saves some of her harshest words for the media:
That was a long way of saying: Dig deep into Sarah Palin, get all you can, talk to everybody, get every vote, every quote, tell us of her career [...]

From Virtucon reader Pedro’s Dwarf:
Hmmm… maybe Virtucon can encourage its DirecTV customers to start banging them for FOXNews HD. It kills me that CNN is in HD. Apparently, when they wanted to add TBS HD in time for the baseball playoffs last year, Turner forced CNN HD down their throats. And you’re right: I’m not [...]

From the Potomac News:
Virginia’s a pretty wealthy place, by U.S. Census Bureau reporting standards, anyway. The government agency just released its income, earnings and poverty report for 2007, and making the list of top salary gainers was Virginia, with an estimated median household increase of 2.9 percent between 2006 and 2007.

These two US Magazine covers are making the rounds today. Just look at the difference in coverage they give Obama vs. [...]

Reagan’s GOP blog has a great post up entitled, “Sarah Palin or Sarah Connor?”
Why do Democrats fear Sarah Palin? I’m convinced it’s not about November.
At least not November, 2008.
. . .
I’m convinced it’s because they realize that Sarah Palin may do what only Ronald Reagan has done in recent history: Redefine the Republican Party for [...]

In a head-to-head match-up, Hillary Clinton holds an 11-point lead over Sarah Palin in a run for the presidency according to a new Rasmussen poll.
Not bad given that Hillary has been on the public stage for 17 years while Palin has been in the national spotlight for all of 6 days.

Howard Kurtz of the WashPo did an outstanding job in today’s edition of critiquing the biased coverage that many media outlets have been offering the past few days of AK Gov. Sarah Palin. (I’m actually surprised by how relatively balanced the WashPo has been — if they keep this up, I might have to stop highlighting [...]

This just in via email:
Dear Republican Ally:
Today was fascinating.
Our breakfast speaker for the Virginia Delegation was pollster Kellyann Conway. She is the bubbly blond pollster you see on many TV news programs. She was very good and very entertaining. One thing of true importance that she said was this: it will take a [...]
