Amazing

Gov. Sarah Palin’s speech tonight was amazing, pure and simple.  There’s only one problem with it — John McCain has to follow it tomorrow night.

Here’s a quick round-up of the news coverage:

From Brit Hume on Fox News – Tonight a new star is born.  Fmr. Hillary Clinton spokesman Howard Wolfson was hard pressed to say anything negative beyond he disagreed with her on policy stances.

Flipped over to CNN where they had Donna Brazile and some guy saying she trashed “community organizers” and they would all be upset. As if any of them would be voting for McCain anyway.  Utterly laughable.

Then went over to MSNBC. Chris Mathews was beside himself, trying to say she was campaigning for a First Lady-type role against Michelle Obama. It is official — Chris Mathews is a complete idiot of Jim Moran proportions.

Under the extremely goodlooking outside, there’s a definite hardness. Sending poisoned arrows with a smile. WOW!

Hate to say it, but if I were Biden, I’d be shivering in my boots. This is ONE tough, cruel, Dem eating cookie!

Poor McCain – My friends, this an act that’s hard to follow for anyone.

  2. Oh, come on … NO ONE is an idiot of Jim Moran proportions.

Governor Palin was great. It was easy for the media to trash an unknown, but now that voters are getting to know the Governor, we’ll see a good bit of backlash against the media and the Dems pushing the trash.

  3. I believe that both Moran and Matthews were the Class of ‘67 together at Holy Cross as they were born in ‘45. That means they attended there about 10 years before it went co-ed, which explains a lot about these two.

  4. Saracuda ROCKS THE HOUSE! (Updating with new links all day)…

I was afraid to get my hopes up last night – I mean, I adore Sarah Palin, I think she’s a breath of sorely-needed fresh air, and I think she’s a brilliant choice to the Republican nominee for Vice-President, but I’ve had high hopes dashed before….
