Thank you to Congressman Rob Wittman (VA-01) for sticking to his original vote and voting “No” to today’s version.
For giggles I thought I’d take a look at the text of the Bill that was passed. Wow I didn’t realize how many bankers must ride their bikes to work. There are a good 3 pages dedicated to laying out tax credits for giving firnge benefits to employees who ride bikes to work. The bill is 451 pages long and the first 120 or so are the meat of the bailout. The rest . . .garbage to get to their precious 263 Yea votes.

No, I’m not really surprised. Lawmakers voted 263-171 to pass the bill. It was the second time this week the House voted. On Monday, it rejected an earlier version, but accepted changes after the Senate added sweeteners and supported it on Wednesday. …
