Virtucon Calls U.S. Senate Race for Mark Warner

With 0 percent of the votes reporting from 0 precincts, Virginia Virtucon is 100 percent confident in declaring that former Gov. Mark Warner (a.k.a. Marky Mark) will be the next U.S. Senator from Virginia, replacing the retiring John Warner.  His GOP opponent, former Gov. Jim Gilmore, never gained any traction, raised little money and made enough personal enemies among the GOP faithful to plummet to the depths that he reached in this election.  Gilmore ran one of the worst statewide campaigns in recent memory and this result vindicates my earlier support of Del. Bob Marshall’s candidacy.

The “personal dirt” that led Marky Mark to abandon his own presidential campaign never came out (and despite knowing the information, we weren’t about to release such things on our own without boxes of documents to back it all up.)  Suffice it to say, at least half of Washington has whispered about it over the past several months making this one of the worst-kept secrets in D.C. since pre-scandal Mark Foley.

So, congratulations, Sen.-elect Marky Mark.  Now don’t embarass us in Washington with anything like what you did in Shockoe Bottom or that other thing that shall remain unspoken…

Sen.-elect Butthead will join Virginia’s now-senior Sen. Beavis

  1. Well, let’s see, what do the repubs still have left to take in Va? US Senate? nope got both of them, Governor? Nope, had that for awhile. State Senate? Nope , already have it. One or two House seats tonight and the House of Delegates within a couple of years and at least half the US House seats and the repubs will be so small we’ll need a magnifying glass to see them.

Welcome to Virginia! the “True Blue” New Dominion.

  2. Riley

A sore loser if there ever was one!

  3. How does it feel to be in the minority, Riley? Please by all means go further to the right…
