Alexandria GOP Nominates Joe Murray in 46th House Dist.

Tonight the Alexandria GOP nominated Joe Murray to be their candidate in the special election to fill the vacant 46th Dist. Gov. Timothy M. Kaine (D) will propose Wednesday laying off 1,100 state workers and increasing the tax on cigarettes by 30 cents to address a $3 billion state shortfall, according to legislative staffers.
