In all seriousness this is great news. More money for the 11th district. When you really stop and think about it Tom and Gerry aren’t really that different. They are both as pro-business as they come which is exactly what the district needs and they both have don’t mess with me personalities that get the job done.
novamddleman, you’re thinking of the Appropriations Cmte. that would dole out money to the 11th. Budget doesn’t have that sort of authority. He’ll just be skyrocketing the deficit without helping the 11th.
I stand corrected. It has some authority for what area of the budget to focus on but yes it isn’t as detailed as appropriations.
On a related topic he is basically congressman for life now. Have to figure out how to deal with him somehow.
Well, I’m hoping that the voters in the 11th aren’t as easily led as the voters in the 8th, many of whom would proudly wear the label of “sheeple.”
