The Virginia State Crime Commission will not recommend closing the so-called gun-show loophole.

Session Sets Up Fall Election

As the GA begins the short session today, it’s hard to imagine the stakes any higher.  All 100 seats in the House are up for election this fall.  Republicans control with 53 seats down from the 64 seat edge held in 2001.  The party who wins the most seats this fall controls redistricting in 2011.
