Chairman Jeff Frederick
Republican Party of Virginia
901 East Cary Street
Richmond, Virginia 23219Dear Jeff:
As fellow conservative grassroots Republican leaders, we urge you to resign as chairman of the Republican Party of Virginia. After reflecting on recent events, we have concluded that it is time for new leadership of our Party so that we can unify, and win this November.
We have worked tirelessly over the years to build our party, advance conservative ideas, and elect fellow Republicans to local and state office. We have devoted our time, talents and undying commitment to our shared cause. It is with this commitment to our party that we agree with the other grassroots and elected leaders who support a change in leadership.
Sincerely,
Kenny Golden

Today’s letter from nine unit chairs stating a change of leadership is needed at RPV coupled with Alexandria’s resolution two weeks ago gives you every unit chair in every locality that has had a special election this year coming out against Jeff Frederick

Why are you so attacking Jeff Frederick in an attempt to silence Patrick Muldoon? It’s disgusting.
This letter was shopped around to unit chairs around the state. We have 130 of them–only 9 signed.
I am one of many chairs here in the 6th District who stand FIRMLY behind Jeff Frederick. He was voted in by an overwhelming majority of grassroots activists at last year’s convention and I can not believe the arrogance of 50+ SCC members to override the vote of the grassroots.
130 chairs–9 signatures. Need we say more?
I’m simply pointing out the significance being the size of the units represented by those 9 chairmen. Additionally, I understand that a number of units did not sign because they did not have meetings at which to consult their membership.
I think that you’d be hard pressed to find any blog in Virginia that has been more objective and balanced on this whole thing than we have. Whether Jeff prevails or not on April 4, we still have an election to win in Nov.
Anne – As my post points out, those chairs coupled with Alexandria represent every locality that has had an election this year. These are the battles we will be fighting this year and if those unit chairs are saying Frederick’s RPV isn’t work, well, they have the first hand experience to do so and that really should resonate.
These are the trench fighters, the ones who have fought and bled over the last three months and even they think Frederick’s RPV has been ineffective.
Furthermore, those 9 chairs represent 35 percent of the delegates attending this year’s GOP convention.
[...] Here and here Virginia Virtucon and Bearing Drift report how nine GOP chairs (out of 130) have called for Frederick to go quietly. [...]
