The PWC News & Messenger has run an editorial calling for Pastor Luke Torian to accept the proposal of former Dumfries Town Councilman Rafael Lopez to engage in 10 debates leading up to the Nov. 3 election when the two will face-off to be the next Delegate to represent the 52nd Dist.
Lopez has much to offer and is laying out a detailed campaign platform centered around improving the quality of life for the people in the 52nd Dist. which runs along U.S. Route 1 in Prince William Co. Lopez has taken to calling it “America’s Main Street” and is offering solutions on how to improve traffic, encourage economic development, provide quality education and ensure public safety. His past experience in elected office will serve him well as he works to bring these issues to the forefront, both now during the campaign and once he is representing us in Richmond.
