CANDIDATE FOR VIRGINIA’S 37TH SENATE DISTRICT MARIANNE HORINKO HOSTS CAMPAIGN KICKOFF

11-12-2009

*Chantilly, VA*- Marianne Horinko hosted a campaign kickoff Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at her home in Chantilly, VA for Virginia’s 37th State Senate District. She was joined by friends, neighbors, voters, and Fairfax County Republican activists. Over 100 guests attended the event, which began at 7:30 pm.

Horinko stated, *“I am so grateful for the support of my friends and family as I begin my race for Virginia State Senate. At this point in the campaign I’ve called over 1200 voters. The response on the phone has been overwhelmingly encouraging.”*

Marianne runs a small consulting business, The Horinko Group, and was acting administrator at the EPA during the George W. Bush Administration. She and her husband Tim Horinko live in Chantilly with their children Kaitlyn (12) and Louie (10).

Longtime GOP activist and Horinko supporter Mary Campbell introduced Marianne, stating* “I’ve met all three of the candidates for State Senate. I am supporting Marianne Horinko because I know she has the experience, the leadership ability, and the conservative values that are important to me.” *

  1. 1. Supports rail to Dulles, outside of the district.
    2. Endorsed by RINO Anna Lee
    3. Bush EPA political appointee

Hypothesis: JoAnn Devolites-Davis is experiencing sewer problems and now Marianne Horinko’s water tastes funny,

  2. Wow Jim Rich and Anna Lee are endorsing different people. Interesting…

  3. Who is JOANN Devolites-Davis?

  4. It was late. I meant to say JeanneMarie.

  5. Please, Greg, Anna Lee is no RINO. You may not agree with her on everything, but she is no RINO, and has done alot of work for the GOP and its candidates.

  6. Sorry, Greg. I have to side with LI on this one. I’ve known Anna for years and in many one-on-one conversations that I’ve had with her, including several when we were both delegates to the 2004 GOP convo in NYC, she has espoused pretty strong conservative positions and principles.

  7. So explain Anna Lee’s absolute apoplexia over ken Cuccinelli.

  8. I do still find it strange that Jim Rich has endorsed Steve Hunt. Steve must really have some people skills.

  9. So she doesn’t like Cooch – BFD. Plenty of people in that boat.

  10. Anna Lee is no squish.
