I prefer Tom “the traitor” Perriello, but Riley, I might have to start using yours.
Oh my gosh, I wasted far too much of my youth in The Tune Inn! It was a dump then and I don’t imagine that it’s aged well. Cheap beer and good hamburgers was a terrific deal for students, but Congressmen? Can’t imagine them at the Tune Inn. Was the Hawk and Dove, down the street, closed? Or is Perriello just a low class, cheap, dude?
don’t call the Tune Inn “low class”! I love that place. and Clint Eastwood has eaten there.
maybe Perriello is carbo-loading for his ultimate showdown with state Senator Robert Hurt.

Good Bye Tom. Good Bye Gerry. Don’t let the door hit you…
I too loved the Tune Inn, and now that I know Clint Eastwood ate there, I think more highly of the dump!
The second best bacon cheesburgers and fries in DC as well as the most eclectic decor!!! The Tune Inn is great. Also, have to give props to the cranky waitresses and the mens room “equipment”. This is a place where you expect to find Waylen and Willie and the boys!
