No Loyalty Oath for the Virginia Republican Primary
Chairman of the Republican Party of Virginia, Pat Mullins, made the following announcement today:
“I’m very pleased to let you know that the Republican Party of Virginia has informed the State Board of Elections that the “loyalty oath” will be rescinded.
We informally polled the GOP State Central Committee over the past week and there was an overwhelming and near unanimous feeling that we should rescind the loyalty oath.
The Executive Committee of RPV voted last night unanimously to have me inform the State Board of Elections, that having heard from nearly all members of the GOP State Central Committee, that we would have an overwhelming majority vote to rescind the “loyalty oath”.
We will formally approve this on Saturday.”

One more blow to set the stage for a resounding Romney victory in Virginia. Now Romney will have
1. No competition from conservative candidates
2. The support of moderate independents who oppose Obama
3. The support of Democrats who see themselves winning no matter if Romney or Obama wins.
4. Democrats who want to marginalize Ron Paul by a resounding defeat (more marginalized than his own views have already made him)
Lt. Governor Bolling has successfully made the presidential primary irrelevant by taking the decision from the party and giving it to whoever shows up..
My suggestion: enter the voting booth. Vote for other candidates. Do not vote for presidential primary. If there are not other candidates do not vote, leave.
