Why I Believe Democrat Voter Fraud Is A Real Problem

Voter fraud ‘a normal political tactic’ in upstate NY city

Two veteran Democratic political operatives in Troy said voter fraud is an accepted way of winning elections, and faking absentee ballots was commonplace.

. . .

Anthony Renna, another longtime Democratic operative and party committeeman, admitted to forging an absentee ballot application. He said the process of handing in forged ballots and fake votes ensures that “ballots are voted correctly.”

“I knew that the actual voters had not voted the ballots or signed the envelopes, but that did not concern me. I am not the ballot police,” Renna said in a statement to police. “I have been present when ‘ballots were voted correctly’ by party operatives. Voted correctly is a term used for a forged application or ballot.”

Ah, the city I was born in (which I prefer to note was the home of Sam Wilson a.k.a. Uncle Sam.)

  1. I think there is ample evidence that Democrat voter fraud occurs frequently. Every time there is a close and citical election (A Minnesota Senate election comes to mind), a suitcase full of democrat votes always shows up very suddenly in someone’s car trunk, office, or home, and the election miraculously goes to the democrat (after a protracted court battle of course).

The other simple “gut feeling” method of knowing that Democrat voter fraud occurs? The very fact that they are pulling out all the stops to prevent voter ID laws; that in itself is enough evidence for me.

  2. Minnesota Senate election, Washington State gubernatorial election, the most recent Connecticut gubernatorial election (where a catche of ballots just “happed” to show up in Bridgeport which put the Dem over the top), and even some have argues that JFKs win in Illinios. But in any case, I agree wholeheartedly, that their opposition to voter ID laws and having people verify who they are so they can vote is proof in of itself.

  3. When i was elected to the Albany County Democratic Committee back in the 60s as an anti-boss Democrat, the O’Connell machine paid $5.00 per vote……..elderly unemployed gentlemen could always get a job maintaining the park systems, yet the slums in Albany and Troy were rampant with decay (until Gov Rockefeller came into office and cleaned up the cities…..) With this as a legacy, the “democratic” system was finally broken, yet today, a granddaughter of the O’Connell era is now the US Senator having come out of the House – represented Troy….i proudly went to high school with her father……excuse the ramblings about the good old days, but the democrat machines worked on all the big cities then……and that legacy helped to make what is now a great America….most of the democrats of that era have moved to the suburbs and have become ‘respectable and republican’……

    • I’ve always wondered how many historic sites were destroyed by Rockefeller et al to build the Empire State Plaza. You figure in a city like Albany which celebrated its 325th anniversary last year that there had to be more historic sites than you find there today.

The band They Might Be Giants wrote a song about the Empire State Plaza, calling it Gov. Nelson Rockefeller’s shrine to dehumanizing bureaucracy and pointed out The Egg for special ridicule.

  4. There were at least 2 theories as to why Rockefeller effectively destroyed about 300 acres of slums in South Albany (the gut!!) in order to build the Empire Plaza. One was that the core of the O’Connell Machine was in the South End……thousands of Democrats both dead and alive who could vote; the other was the simple goal of cleaning up what needed to be cleaned up. As this played out, this was the beginning of what almost put the State under financially – culminated in 1975…….The bottom line as you point out, was the loss of literally thousands of historical artifacts. The people fighting for saving these were a shrill voice and we will never know just how much was lost. Similar development was done in cities throughout the state and was followed by Rockefeller’s higher education initiatives – which culminated in Rocky’s giving a Harpur student the finger during a political rally!!! Rocky’s last hurrah…..

    • Likewise, I always thought it stupid to run an interstate right alongside the Hudson River and cut the waterfront off from the rest of the city.
