Obama: “We’ve created 22 million jobs . . . I mean 3 million”

Maybe the other 19 million jobs are in the 7 “mystery states” of the U.S.A.

Tells Woman: “Interesting” unemployed husband can’t find a job because he is getting “the word” that someone in her husband’s job field “should be able to find something right away.”

Ladies and gentlemen, the “smartest man ever to be President of the United States.”

  1. If we are going to consider impeachment of anyone, it should be the incompetents in the Senate who know only how to screw things up in hopes of making Obama look bad……people like McConnell….they’re the ones who are guilty of de facto sedition and treason…………….

    • How about the incompetents in the Senate who have controlled that body since 2007 and have not produced a single budget in over 1,000 days?

  2. Ken,

It sounds good except that Senators cannot be impeached.

De facto sed…..I’m not even going to get into that. :)

    • The ‘cooler’ heads have one self-admitted goal…………..help situations to keep Obama from getting re-elected, not ……..what is in the public’s interest. I would like to see Reid put on the back bench…………Then Chucky would likely become the leader of the Senate………………………i think he would be a better spokesman for Democrats…….

  3. Additionally, one could make the argument that the Democrats in the Senate were slowing things down during the Bush years, trying to screw things up to make Bush look bad, holding up his judicial nominees, ect. (I’m not sure if you would complain about that, however, putting that aside….)

As royal a pain as it is sometimes, that is what the Senate is supposed to do — make sure that there is some type of opposing voice that is not silenced out completely. There is such a thing as both the tyranny of the majority AND the minority, I would argue. As obsolete as it might seem sometimes, the Senate does serve a useful purpose, namely, to ensure that there are at least some cooler heads during a debate. Now, granted, I can’t stand Harry Reid and I would have loved to see him tossed out on his ear in 2010, but I have no doubt that if the tables were turned and a Republican was in the White House, he would wield the tools that he would have at his disposal with great effect. It is true, the Senate can be a pain in the rear, but I wouldn’t have it any other way even if the GOP controlled everything.

    • That is exactly what the problem is Nate……..they are making so many moves based strictly on political consideration, and not was is in the public’s interest……….

  4. Ken,

Depends on what one would consider to be the public’s interest. I would subscribe more to a limited goverment role rather than spending money hand over fist on defunct social programs and obsolete weapons programs (little from column A, little from column B).

  5. Dont change the subject gentlemen!!!!

  6. I think that most Republican Senators think that keeping the Obama administration down to only one term is in the public interest.
