Even if the economy is coming back on paper (and that’s up for debate in many people’s minds) the bottom line is that a lot of folks just aren’t feeling it. This was a common theme pushe din 2006-2007 when the economy was doing well. 500K+ jobs were being created every month and the unemployment rate was around 5%. However the media’s line was “what KINDS of jobs are being created?” “people are doing well, but what about their neighbors?” And of couse, “why are we still in Iraq?”
