Fmr. Gov. Doug Wilder: Obama “has lost hope and resists change”
Democratic fmr. VA Gov. Doug Wilder had a very interesting day today, from tweeting that the Obama ”administration has lost hope and resists change” to appearing on FOX News to call Joe Biden a “tar baby” that President Obama is stuck with to getting into a war of words with the White House spokesman to finally showing up in Richmond tonight at a Romney fundraiser featuring VA Gov. Bob McDonnell, LA Gov. Bobby Jindal and VP candidate Paul Ryan.
Wilder also tweeted today, “We are not African Americans – we are all Americans.” To that I say, amen. History will not record him simply as the first African American elected as a governor, but as a great governor of Virginia for what he did in office and the stature and dignity that he has displayed since leaving office.
