“Special Announcement” + “commitment to restoring our State Government” = Run For LG?
Stafford County Board Chairman Susan Stimpson has posted the following event on Facebook:
“Virginian’s for Values Movement” and Special Announcement
Public Event · By Susan B. StimpsonWednesday, August 22, 2012
9:00amJoin us on Facebook for the special event and announcement “Virginian’s for Values Movement”. This exciting event will demonstrate my commitment to restoring our State Government to the limited role our Founders intended. Please join me to learn more about my vision for a better Virginia with more liberty and opportunity for you, your family, and your business.
With an invite list exceeding 500, there is something to take note of with this. When you parse the language of this, “Special Announcement,” “demonstrate my commitment to restoring our State Government to the limited role our Founders intended,” and “my vision for a better Virginia with more liberty and opportunity for you, your family, and your business” it seems to all add up to a statewide run in 2013. Given that she is not an attorney, that removes her from the AG race and with the race for Governor seemingly set between Bolling and Cuccinelli, this seems to add up to Susan Stimpson jumping in the race for Lt. Gov., joining PWC Chairman Corey Stewart, Del. Scott Lingamfelter and state Sen. Steve Martin.

Looks like the Ron Paul movement found quite an attractive looking candidate for LG.
I’ve been told 100% that she is running.
Welcome to the pros, Susan. This will be like watching Desmond Howard trying to adjust to the NFL.
Huh. Desmond did have a 10 year career and a Superbowl MVP.
1600 career receiving yards…
A. She is has executive experience with the Stafford board of supervisors.
B. She is pro life contrary to rumors.
C. She is hated for standing firm on fiscally conservative principles.
D. Eye candy would help Bill or Ken defeat the dems LG in the general.
E. Did I say Eye candy? Yes I did.
“Eye candy” if you’re in to moon-faces. The trouble with Susan is that she’s always trying to tear something down rather than build something positive. She’s the perfect candidate for all the angry screaming Republicans, but I would hope there is more to conservativism than that.
I’m with you Sam!!! Also, beneath that cute little smile is one mean-looking SOB……………..and i never heard of her til today. The big point though, is that she appears to know nothing about our Founders wishes if she thinks she can reform anything anywhere. She would have as much power as John Nance Garner proscribed for secondary positions. Maybe she could uncover scandals in Goldvein or perhaps misapplication of funds in the national forest. Seriously, her best shot would be the Virginia Senate + 30 or 40 yrs and then she could join all the rest of the crooks!!!!
One of the worst people I’ve ever had the displeasure of knowing. Fake to the point of nausea. Narcissistic, shallow, barely wave-top level of knowledge on anything aside from local political gossip. ggossigossip.alsnever had a
