ABC News / WashPo Poll — Obama +1 Among LVs, But…

abc_post_poll_2012_election_413x310_ms[1]

The new ABC News / Washington Post poll shows President Obama with a 49%-48% lead over Mitt Romney among likely voters.  One major problem — the poll only included 23% Republicans in its sample compared to 33% Democrat and 37% independent.

Oops!

Even during the Democratic wave of 2008, GOP turnout in Illinois was 28% and in California it was 30%. Again, anyone who thinks only 23% of voters in America consider themselves to be Republicans is either a.) stupid; b.) high; c.) incredibly biased or d.) all of the above.

So, how is Romney doing among independents in this poll?  He’s thrashing Obama 54%-43%.

Double oops!

The left desperately clings to the notion that they’re winning, like a felon straining out one last puff of his cigarette as he’d being stuffed in the back of a squad car.

I think Obama got a convention bounce. I also think the convention bounce is pretty much gone. I also think that the polls are being used to enforce the narrative that the media is (desperately?) trying to formulate, which is “Obama is the greatest thing to happen to this country since sliced bread and he will win re-election easily.” Well, I guess we’ll just have to prove the media wrong!
