UPDATE: To add insult to injury, we are now getting multiple reports of Jeannemarie’s campaign making robocalls today asking “Do you plan to vote for Mitt Romney?” followed by questions about her candidacy for Lt. Gov. She may very well be having the worst campaign roll out in the history of politics.

Lingamfelter also sent out a 9/11-themed email.
Lots of people sent out 9/11-themed emails. None of them were overtly political like this one is.
Lingamfelter’s email is respectful. He has been communicating with email blasts for a long time. Outside of having links to his long existing websites in the sidebar, he does not encourage readers to click on a weblink that is nothing but a webform for collecting contact information.
This is JMDD’s first email blast about her LG run. She tries to tie Pres. Obama to 9/11. She wants readers to click a link that takes them to a webform that collects personal information. She wants you to tell her why Pres. Obama should be replace. She has been on the payroll of the Commonwealth of VA for three years – working in DC. She should be able to articulate the story of why Pres. Obama needs to be replaced. There is no connection between Pres. Obama and 9/11.

Terrible. And I thought the Devolite-Davis family was politically savvy. I was wrong. They are politically tone deaf and completely insensitive to what this day means to people of the Commonwealth.
It appears that Jeannemarie has dropped the first husband’s name from her name. She is no longer JMDD but now only JMD.
Are we going to have a thread to discuss Lt. Governor candidates soon, or are we waiting until after the November election? I’ve known Scott for a while. I like and could easily back him. Susan Stimpson seems to have done a good job in Stafford on development and tax issues, from what I’ve read. Those are the two most on my radar at the moment. I can’t support Corey, and know very little about the candidates from other parts of the state. Davis doesn’t seem to be as strong as Scott or Susan for a conservative voter.
