Once Upon a Time I Feared No Evil…
I served 22 years in the United States Army through some of the most dangerous times in our lifetime.
I not only went everywhere they told me to go, I volunteered to go where others did not want to go for fear of injury or death.
I did this for love of my country and the defense of freedom for my countrymen.
In my entire career I never feared death because I was a U.S. Soldier and a member of the best trained and equipped military force in the world.
There was one thing I did fear however, and that is that my life would be wasted by a politician.
That I might be sent to some remote piece of ground to die for a political talking point, or worse yet that I might be hamstrung by orders that would not even allow me to defend myself in the face of an attack.
The fear that my children would be fatherless and my wife a widow for a political maneuver. It comes with the turf when you serve your country, but it is always in the back of your mind.
That has happened in Libya and two brave SEALS, a U.S. Ambassador, and another whose name and identity I have not yet heard have not only died, but were murdered in a most disgraceful manner.
And for what?
The failed “Foreign Policy” of Barack Hussein Obama and his Secretary of State, Hillary Rodham Clinton.
It has been disclosed that the brave individuals that died were not even afforded the luxury of ammo with which to defend themselves and our country’s sovereign ground. Perhaps the State Department feared that some of the murderers might be injured unnecessarily?
The events that are unfolding in far-flung reaches of the Islamic world were absolutely foreseeable, and measures have not been taken to defend our sovereignty and protect our personnel that trusted our government to have their back.
Instead, our “Leaders” apologized to the killers.
And our President?
He continues to campaign for re-election as the world burns down around us.
I am appalled, disgusted, and deeply saddened.

Amen
And yet I just saw a tweet that says Obama is ahead in polls of foreign policy by CNN. Do we trust them? He does not care about those our country sends overseas and he doesn’t care about this country. His arrogant and self centered.
Always read the internal numbers of polls. Most of the polls being reported by the mainstream media are saying GOP turnout will only be 23-25% of the electorate. It was higher than that in CA and IL in 2008. Nationally, the number should be around 31-33% and roughly on par with Democrat turnout.
Also look at the date the polls were conducted. Very likely some or all of that poll took place before the outbreak of violence and the murders happened.
We have no leaders. Around the world people are attacking our Embassies and schools. And we have no leader who stands up and speaks for us. It’s rather sad, and frightening. I pray that November brings us some leadership.
The President is sending a Marine FAST team to Libya; 50 Marines.
The Administration insists this is all about a video that no one has even seen, and that may not even exist.
They ignore the Anti-Obama chants and the fact that protestors are burning likenesses of Obama in effigy.
It’s not about Obama, how could it be? He is the great uniter.
I am disgusted by whats happening. Its actually mind boggling that anyone would have voted for him before this melt down, with the way he has conducted himself, and the country. The numbers alone! Now people are bafflingly in polls still supporting someone, who when the middle east conflict is melting down, goes to a fundraising party for himself in Las Vegas one night, and NY another! What is going on! Our armed services are just today, been voted to reduced 9.1% by the end of the year, unless they can find another place to reduce the spending. CRAZY, just crazy! I honor you for serving. You and every service man and woman, are precious gifts to this country!
My son-in-law is deploying today to the cauldron of hate. He is a fantastic man and soldier. The best gift to give him is new political leadership November 6th. Be sure to vote right and bring someone with you to vote, too!
