Obama Falters In VA

Silly WashPo.  As much as you wish that President Obama has put Virginia away, it just isn’t so and even the president’s campaign knows that.  He was in state today as well as last Friday and Joe Biden was here within the past week, too.  You don’t spend time and money in a state you’ve already secured.  (If you truly believe that he already has Virginia locked up, then you also probably thought Roger Simon’s POLITICO satire piece about Paul Ryan going rogue was real like some of your idiot colleagues in the press did.)

Here’s the latest evidence of that.  The latest poll conducted in Virginia by Suffolk Univ. (which, by the way, has a better track record in VA than the Post based upon the 2009 election results) and just released tonight has Obama well below 50%, leading Romney within the margin of error 46%-44%.  This poll was conducted Sept. 24-26 with a 4% margin of error.

Sorry guys, but there’s still a very competitive race in Virginia for the presidency.

Hardly (unless you believe NYT/CBS/Qpac which estimates an even higher Dem turnout in 2012 than in 2008.) Miami Herald had a new poll this week that shows FL is a 1-2% race. Polls within the normal range of voter ID show this to be tight.

I think the entire country is competitive at this point, save the obvious solids. DC & RI will not vote for Romney, ID & UT will not vote for Obama. I also think that if Obama wins, it will be a closely-run thing. Romney could either win in a squeaker or in a landslide, depending on what happens in the next 40 days.

I agree Nate……the race is yet to be decided. Most presidential races are decided in the last few weeks and is based on how says the dumbest things………….i’m betting on romney and allen to lose because they will win the dumb things said contest!!!

Watch Obama reference both 57 states and the intercontinental railroad again plus for Biden to open his mouth. Those two have the market cornered on saying stupid things.

Seriously? Even Fox’s polls have Romney trailing in every swing state. He has pulled out of Pa.and Mich., his true home state. Ohio looks about done. You guys need to get back to reality. If not for the “voter ID” drives (lib voter suppression), Fla. wouldn’t be this close. Say Romney wins Va., N.C. and Fla. That’s still not gonna do it for him.

Look at the sidebar column on polling accuracy. FOX has one of the worst track records. New PA poll has Romney down by only 2 and he was campaigning there yesterday. OH voter registration is down by 500K and half of that is in Dem stronghold Cleveland. You need to dig beneath the media narrative and look at the facts on the ground.

Fair enough. And I respect your experience on this enough to not write Romney off. But PA still seems like a very big longshot and Obama’s stimulus package for the auto industry may have bought him Ohio.

Loudoun County absentee ballots are down by 3000. Guess who didn’t show up to the party this year?
I’d be VERY interested in seeing all counties absentee ballot requests across the State. There’s something afoot here, and it does not bode well for the Usurper.
