Huge Romney Rally in Leesburg!

Romney had a great rally in Leesburg yesterday,  over 10,000 people!  (Compare that to the 900 who turned out for Obama when he came to Leesburg in August.)   It was so exciting, such a happy, enthusiastic crowd!  We could feel the energy in the air, people know that Mitt Romney and George Allen will win in Virginia, on their way to the White House and Senate!    Our Loudoun Board of Supervisors rushed to attend the rally despite having a scheduled meeting.  They got through the hearings just in time to get to Ida Lee Park and hear Romney speak.   I appreciate their efforts and I’m glad they didn’t have to miss the rally!   I know they all wanted to be there.   It was electrifying!  We all wanted to be a part of it.

Romney looked, and sounded, like the next President!  He’s so tall!  Also funny!  Dennis Miller was hilarious, even if he did forget our Congressman’s last name!   The Washington Post covered Dennis Miller here.

Susan Allen spoke on behalf of her husband, George Allen, looking great, and delivering her  optimistic, enthusiastic, message.   Much of her message, and Romney’s message, centered around women and how much they have suffered over the last 4 years under Obama, with lost jobs and much higher prices for gas and groceries.

My favorite Romney line,  ”I don’t want to make America like Europe … I want to restore to America the freedoms that drive our economy – our economy is driven by freedom, by personal freedom, by people pursuing their dreams.”  Yes, our economy is driven by our freedom, freedom to choose without the government getting in our way.

More local coverage here,  with some great pictures.   Even better pictures were taken by Nova Digital Films.  Here are a few more of his photographs.

I’m glad you find such solace in Romney’s lines about “Freedom…and more freedom………you do know LL that such swooning may lead to swirling stomach issues!!! Also, Cowboy George has a nice consulting job with the oil companies and if you get your wish, he would end up working for you!!! I prefer Obama and Kaine both of whom have superior records of solid accomplishments in the public sector!!!

When we send Allen to the Senate, gas prices will begin to come down because he will push for off shore drilling in Virginia and other states. We will finally have the Keystone pipeline bringing oil to us. I can’t wait for the oil companies to have more oil so that supply increases and our prices go down!

R U KIDDING. DON’T U HAVE ANY IDEA WHATS GOING ON IN AMERICA. STOP WATCHING LOCAL NEWS. THEY DO NOT TELL THE TRUTH

    • Lovettsville Lady

Anonymous, what are you talking about and why are you shouting? And who watches local news? No one!

    • Lovettsville Lady

Solid accomplishments like sitting on millions of transportation fund money and closing the rest stops when he had the money to keep them open, like Tim Kaine did? Accomplishments like Tim Kaine raising tuition at all Virginia schools? No thanks! I’ll be voting for George Allen.

The first thing Allen will do in the Senate is to find one of the last seats in the last row, sit down, and be quiet………..

    • Riley

Except he’d have 6 years more of of seniority in the Senate than Kaine would. In fact, Allen would have two-years on Mark Warner, so Warner would technically still be Virginia’s junior senator.

I had heard it will take at least 10 years for Virginia pipelines to become activated, oil pumped, and then refined

Hi Anonymous, I am glued to MSNBC every night. That is where i get my informationn……………….they tell the truth. Romney/Ryan have total lack of knowledge about how things operate………both are on the sneaky side….they are pawns of the ‘rich’………will work to reduce taxes for the rich and increase taxes on the rest of us….will install vouchers for health care and who knows what else they will do to us…….they arent telling us now………..they also have a bunch of Dick Cheney’s in the background who will take over and operate the govtv for them………

    • Lovettsville Lady

You mean I could have a CHOICE in health care with a voucher?! What a concept, CHOICE. Bring it on! I would love that.

    • Ken Reynolds

Yep LL………then you would pay your doc every $5.00 per office visit…………you pay the balance, and/or in chickens!!!!

    • Michael

Ken, yeah MSNBC unbias and neutral with their fair and balanced reporting, are you kidding??…you should try turning the channel…you might find something of Real subtance

  5. Ken Reynolds

Right Jim, but do you ever notice how the Cowboy shuffles around these days? He’ll do less now than he did in his first 6 yrs….which was nada!!! Kaine is a hussler and an action person……..

” I am glued to MSNBC every night. That is where i get my informationn”

Boy, this explains the problem in depth. I personally turned on MSDNC immediately after the first debate to watch Matthews Meltdown. I treat that rag of a tv show as comedy.
This also explains the gap in your comprehension of all of the facts about any given incident. You didn’t recieve half of them.

    ……………….they tell the truth.

That’s the funniest thing ever typed here. If you want HONEST coverage with BOTH sides presented (and they even allow you to choose the side you’re more comfortable with) you need to watch FOX News.

  7. NateDogg614

Yeah, that says a lot if you are glued to MSNBC. I’m not saying you should watch Fox News, but geez….variety is the spice of life!

  8. Ken Reynolds

My quick mind tells me Monk that you dont like MSNBC, so in that regard, you are hopeless. I do listen to a lot of ‘hate’ radio in the day time………WMAL – Bryan, plante, limbaugh, hannity, levin…………….what a bunch of chronic liars and whiners…………i expect much of the same from fox news. i listen to hate radio to show myself what the others are thinking and to prove to mself just how right i am ……i get my facts from MSNBC

  9. Ken Reynolds

Not sure that 10 yrs does it…………..the govt needs to determine the environmental impacts……………yep, i trust the govt to such things……………….

  10. Ken Reynolds

Yep Michael……….the best thing about Channel 5 is its cartoons and also, Everyone Loves Raymond reruns
