The Voting Dead — Voter Fraud In North Carolina?

The-Voting-Dead[1]

What to make of this?

As of Oct. 22, there have been 899 people aged 112 who have voted early in North Carolina.  (70% of them are registered as Democrats.)

How many 113 year olds have voted?  None.

How about how many 111 year olds?  Just 6.

110 year olds?  Only 2.

In fact, you have to go down to age 102 before you find another group even in double-digits (22 as of the same time as the others.)

You don’t hit triple-digits for a voter age group until age 98 (122 as of the same time as the others.)

One must go back to the age group 20 YEARS THEIR JUNIORage 92 — before you find a group that has cast more ballots (945 total) than the 112 year olds.

Too bad there are apparently only 13 people verified to be age 112 in the world.

It seems we should all move to NC, it must be a very, very, healthy place to live if so many live to be 112.

I’ve been through NC. I’ve seen NC people. Most of them do not strike me as super-healthy.

On serious note, I will argue against this supposed ‘voter fraud in NC’. First, I’d politely suggest that perhaps the 800+ 112 year old voters is an error of sorts. Let’s assume that some evil criminal Democrats wanted to commit fraud– it seems unlikely that their master plan would be to register 800+ people all with an incredible age of 112 years old expressly stated on every application, which would draw instant attention,

I’m sure some of you Republican folks would reply “Ha! Evil criminal Democrats ARE really really dumb”. Sure there’s dumb zealots in both political parties, but before there’s a rush to judgement, I’d put any extra money I had on this being the result of some error (rather than intentional & horribly-conceived fraud). Or, if I must engage in picking sides and making conclusions prematurely, o.k…. I could play the blame game too & cast wild accusations. Watch this….

****[The following crazy conspiracy theory is used for demonstrative purposes only] Hey fellow Democrats- you know how Republicans are demanding tough voter ID laws on the basis that there is supposedly widespread voter fruad? And you know how the Republicans can’t really point to any significant empirical data for voter fraud to justify these new voter ID laws? And isn’t is weird that Republicans are suddenyl concerned about this only after Obama is running for office? Well, you won’t believe what happended! It looks like apparently some crazy overzealous Republicans in NC fraudulently filled out 800+ NC voter registrations, checked off “Dem” for party affiliation, and wrote in ’112 years old’ as the age for all these fake applications?! Really! The Republians are faking applications to manufacture “evidence” of voter fraud, and trying to pin it on the Democrats!!****

Let’s all agree we hope that NC voter board looks into this, and avoid claiming God-like to know the truth before all the evidence is known.

Where is your evidence? Where did these numbers come from? I have to question a crime where they would not be smart enough to vary the age. There are a lot of dead young people they could have borrowed too. Show me the money!

You failed to mention the dirty-dealing in Harrisonburg by the Republican operative Jim…………Has he gotten out of the slammer yet?

You mean the guy who was immediately fired because he tossed 8 voter applications in the trash, two of which belonged to convicted felons who had not had their right to vote restored and thus their attempting to register in itself was a criminal act? The guy should have been fired and was.

I too was concerned about this and discovered the following:

When a county does not have a birth date for a voter, they use a default date for that voters birth date and most counties use 1/1/1900. If these voters show up to vote, the pollworkers inquire as to their correct birth date and that information is added. Over the past few years, we have reduced the number of default birth date voters. And after this election the number of default birth date voters will be reduced even further.

There were millions of voters transferred from the county paper VR records to the Statewide VR database around 2000. Some of the county’s older VR data did not have the voter’s birth date and it was not required at the time that voter registered. Since that time, we have be able to reduce the number of such voters down to a little over two thousand.

    Sincerely,

    Don Wright
    General Counsel
    NC State Board of Elections
