As we first told you last night, the Obama campaign has ceased polling in Virginia. Now we can see the decline in his campaign advertising as well.

Is this diminished effort because they think it is locked up for them, or because they think it is locked up for Romney?
What are Romney’s money allocations for adverts in Va?
That’s a good question. My honest opinion is that they think the battleground is shifting to the north. They are not withdrawing from Virginia completely (at least not yet), but at the end of the day, Ohio is the swing state that will decide the election. And they may be looking to reinforce in Pennsylvania (assuming that it really is competitive).
I’d be stunned if Pa was really in play. It’s too much of a gamble for Romney to bank on it.
And yes, he’s obviously drawing back his advertising, but $9.5 million over a two week period is a pretty big ad buy. Would be interested to see Romney’s numbers.
Yes, what is Romney spending…………..excellent question………and who knows what tomorrow will bring when the debate assessors come out with their ‘fact checks’ and determine if and who screwed up the most……i fell asleep during the debate………..although the post said Obama won!!!
