Lingamfelter Adds Teeth to Farm Freedom with Boneta Bill
Delegate Lingamfelter
Legislation protecting the property rights and individual liberties of farmers will be the subject of a press conference January 8 at 11 a.m. in House Room 1 of Richmond’s historic Virginia State Capitol.
Virginia’s Right to Farm Act (VRFA) was intended to protect the rights of Virginians to engage in something that is fundamental to a way of life in the Commonwealth, and indeed America: farming.
Despite the VRFA, county ordinances and actions of county officials have resulted in restrictions on the farming lifestyle and defining down what it means to be a farmer.

One Response to “Lingamfelter Adds Teeth to Farm Freedom with Boneta Bill”
God bless Scott Lingamfelter! Thank you for serving all the people! This is long over due. We the Virginia people thank you. This story is heart breaking and is about the American dream story shattered by a local county government gone terribly wrong. I cried when I first heard this story last summer. All I can say is that if we do not do something to protect the property rights and economic freedom of our citizens from this kind of tyrany, we will hold our heads in shame as Americans. We must hold local county governments accountable for their wrong doings and protect those amongst us that want to work hard and support their families.
PLEASE support this bill fellow Virginians. We are all brothers and sisters in our fight to protect our liberty, freedom and property rights. It is a sin against alll Americans to turn a blind eye to even one Virginian that is unjustly deprived of their rights.
Property rights are sacred. This bill will protect all of Virginians and should be model across the country. The eminent domain ammendment was only the beginning.
