Major General Richard Secord to speak

As you may know, General Secord was Reagan’s man in charge during the Iran Contra Affair. He is real expert on the Iran and the middle east. He is coming to NOVA to speak and answer questions regarding Obama’s current policies and the effects those policies are having on Iran and the middle east. It’s an open event!

I received this notice and I am happy to pass it on and encourage people to attend. There will be plenty of time to ask questions:

The Western Fairfax Republican Women’s Club (WFRWC) is pleased to announce that Ret. Maj. Gen. Richard Secord will be speaking at our Thursday, May 20th meeting.

General Secord is a proud graduate of West Point and holds a Master’s Degree in International Affairs from George Washington University. During his numerous military assignments, General Secord served as the US Commander in Iran and commanded units from various levels including flight through squadron and wing level in the USAF. He gained considerable notoriety as the “Man in Charge of Operations” in President Reagan’s “so-called” Iran/Contra Affair.

He will be speaking to us on Obama’s Foreign Policy in the Middle East. This will be a scorcher!

Please join us at 6:30pm for a social gathering and at 7:00pm for the beginning of the meeting and speaker presentations.
